The Wharton SBDC also provides limited services for entrepreneurs focused only on developing a business plan or who have been directed to the SBDC to have their plan reviewed for certification.

Entrepreneurs seeking support for writing a business plan are encouraged to attend the five-session Strategic Business Planning workshop.

Some clients choose to use other resources in the Philadelphia area to support them in writing a business plan.

Some clients have applied for a certification by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This certification requires that you be in business for at least one year or have a two-year business plan reviewed by a Small Business Development Center (SBDC). For those in business, a business plan is strongly advised. Submit your business plan for a certification review.
