10th Annual Pennsylvania
Small Business Development Center
Client Exposition May 11, 2004

Growing Businesses, Strengthening Communities
State Capitol Building, East Wing Rotunda
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Each year, the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center hosts an exposition featuring some of the most dynamic small businesses in the state. This event celebrates the contributions these growing businesses make in strengthening the Commonwealth's 2,566 communities. The exhibition highlights the impact that all of the 16 SBDCs are making to improve the performance of the economy.

On May 11, 2004, at the East Wing Rotunda-Capitol Building in Harrisburg, the Wharton SBDC participated in the 10th Annual SBDC Client Exposition. Of the 50+ attending small companies, the Wharton SBDC brought four representatives: KaraB, NRoute Communications, Phatso's Bakery, and Total 1.

These SBDC clients received many benefits from the expo through increased exposure both at the Capitol and online. Some of these benefits included:

  • A page within the PASBDC program detailing their services and contact information.
  • A free listing on the www.pasbdc.org web site, with a link to their business site.
  • Exposure to potential partners and customers of their own.
  • Public relations opportunities.
  • Connections with state government contracing officers.

In addition, our clients' business information was mailed to all state legislators following the event.
