The Wharton SBDC offers a five-part course called Strategic Business Planning in which entrepreneurs develop skills, methods, and strategies as they draft their business plans.

Temple Small Business Development Center

The Business Plan Workshop is the third of a three-part program and is focused on support for business plan writing. The Workshop supports students to write a business plan and to learn how to make a formal presentation of their plan to investors, lenders, and employees. In the Workshop's first two parts, students learn about financing a business, business planning, marketing, and marketing research.

Fee is $270

Women's Opportunities Resource Center (WORC)

WORC offers a Startup: Start Smart, Self-Employment Training course, in which students use next level marketing and formal business structures to incorporate a highly developed written business plan. Successful graduates are invited to participate in the WORC lending program. The program lasts six weeks with meetings twice a week.

Fee ranges from $150 to $550

Women's Business Development Center

The Women's Business Development Center offers a nine-session, fast track course, and an eleven-session feasibility course which goes through the business plan step-by-step.

Fee is $315

Philadelphia Development Partnerships

The PDP offers a Business Development Training Course which teaches the essentials of starting a new business or expanding an existing business. You will learn how to research, organize and create a working plan to guide your business from start to success. Classes are interactive and students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions. The course is seven weeks long.

Fee is $225.

Kutztown University Small Business Development Center

The Kutztown SBDC offers three online seminars. The first, Crafting a Business Plan, is about the craft of creating a plan for your business. The second, Developing a Business Plan, takes you through the step-by-step process of developing a business plan. The third, Strategic Planning and Execution, puts forth the innovative mechanisms of internal and external strategy which are based on the findings of a new body of research into the strategy-making processes of successful growing ventures.

Online courses are free of charge.
