The Philadelphia 100 has been the hallmark of entrepreneurial
achievement in the region since 1988. The project, which
is run by the Wharton Small Business Development Center,
the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia, and the
Philadelphia Business Journal, identifies and honors the
100 fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies
in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
Each year the Philadelphia 100 project is highlighted in a
supplement to the Philadelphia Business Journal in late October. The
supplement offers a glimpse into the workings of these fast-paced, young
companies and provides information on their vital statistics. The project
culminates with the Philadelphia 100 gala awards dinner and reception, an
exciting gathering of the region's most successful entrepreneurs, business
advisors and Philadelphia 100 companies. For more information on the
Philadelphia 100, see the official
Philadelphia 100 website.
Rankings in the 2008 Philadelphia 100 are based on the 3-year revenue % growth
rate during the calendar years of 2005, 2006 and 2007.
